The course for 2008 will begin Monday March 31 and end the week of May 26-30. Unless otherwise indicated the class will meet in Vollum Room M1441 at 10:00-11:00 AM on Monday, Wednesday, and at 2:00-3:00 PM on Fridays. Occasional sessions with visiting lecturers may be scheduled at other times. Course schedules, reading assignments and other materials will be posted at the website, http://www.ohsu.edu/nod.

Class grades will be determined based on an assessment of participation, familiarity with reading assignments, homework, and a written assignment for each of the 5 themes in the course. The class is pass/fail, but failure to participate and complete assignments will be duly rewarded. Students will also complete a course assessment to help in the continuing development of the course. The course director must be notified in advance of any excused absences.

The course will also be shown on West Campus in the Neurological Sciences Institute Conference Room, and at other designated locations on campus. Some of the sessions will be videotaped (with permission of the presenter) for archiving on the OHSU intranet.
