Objectives:
Dr. Kosik has worked with an extended family in Colombia that
has early onset Alzheimer's disease. He will review his experience
in working with this project and its implications for understanding
the mechanisms of AD.
Study questions:
What is the genetic mutation in the Colombian family?
What can the early forms of AD tell us about the sporadic form?
