Description: This session will overview the clinical spectrum of demyelinating disease (principally MS in this discussion) and highlight some of the key issues in the neurobiology and approaches to treatment.
Study questions:
  1. What are the essential components of making a clinical diagnosis of MS?
  2. What aspects of MS are most affected by beta interferon and copolymer-1?
  3. What current treatments address myelin repair or neurodegeneration in MS?
