| This session is the first of 7 sessions in the neurodegenerative disease theme.
This year the clinical focus will be Huntington's disease. This first session will
overview the spectrum of neurodegenerative diseases, addressing issues such as the
similarities and differences in the disorders; proposed hypotheses and underlying
biological mechanisms; the advantages provided by familial disorders; and the promise
and limits of strategies currently used to investigate mechanisms and therapies. |
