Description: Even single gene mutations can cause multiple clinical seizure presentations. In a journal club format, we will examine a specific epilepsy gene mutation and examine its molecular and cellular phenotype and how that relates to the clinical presentation.
 
Readings:

There will not be an in-class session on April 18. Please read the article and prepare a 1-page summary of the main findings, strengths and weaknesses of the work and its significance. These should be handed in no later than Monday April 23. You may work/discuss the article together, but your summary should be in your own words.
