Gerald P. Schatten, Ph.D.
Prior to joining OHSU in 1997, Schatten was a professor of zoology, molecular biology, and obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. During that time, he served as a senior scientist at the Wisconsin Regional Primate Research Center and the Waisman Center, as well as a visiting professor at Hopkins Marine Station of Stanford University. Schatten is the author and co-author of numerous papers and articles on fertilization, cell biology, development, infertility and assisted reproductive technologies. He received his bachelor's and doctoral degrees at the University of California, Berkeley. |
