HIGH-TECH OREGON CORPORATIONS PITCH FOR DOERNBECHER
Intel and Microsoft Teams Compete in the 14th Annual Oregon High-Tech Softball Tournament to Benefit Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Portland, Ore. - More than 30 high-tech companies, including teams from Intel and Microsoft, will compete June 24 and 25 in the 14th Annual Oregon High-Tech Softball Tournament to benefit Doernbecher Children's Hospital at Oregon Health Sciences University. The two-day event is being held at the Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features a sweepstakes grand prize of a trip for two to Hawaii. Each team will play in at least three games and will receive commemorative T-shirts, free lunches and a photo of their team. The tournament offers food, music, co-ed and men's teams, a golf skill competition and thousands of dollars in prizes in addition to the grand prize. The tournament and sweepstakes are open to the public. Additional teams are encouraged to join. Entry fees for teams is $500.
