TCE CONTAMINATION TO BE DISCUSSED AT MAY 21 SYMPOSIUMWHAT: "Trichloroethylene (TCE) from the Ground Up: Contaminated Sites, Health Effects, and Remediation Strategies," a symposium sponsored by the Center for Research on Occupational and Environmental Toxicology (CROET) at Oregon Health & Science University and the OHSU Superfund Basic Research Center. The event will include presentations by TCE experts from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, the Oregon Department of Human Services, Washington State University, Oregon State University and the OHSU Superfund Basic Research Center. Topics include:
WHEN: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2004 WHERE: Ambridge Event Center, 300 N.E. Multnomah Ave., Portland. WHY: To bring together experts from academic and government with the goal of creating a dialogue about the impact of TCE in our region.
