| The Application process for the 2009 Fellowship is now open. Please
see the ERAS website at http://www.aamc.org/students/erasfellow/start.htm for
information on the 2009 process dates. We will be participating in the national nephrology match program: http://www.nrmp.org/fellow/index.html.
Our first download of applications will begin on December 1, 2007. The application deadline and final download will be January 31, 2008. Interviews will be conducted between December 3, 2007 and March 31, 2008. Applicants will be contacted by our office for an interview.
Questions regarding application status should be emailed to nhfellow@ohsu.edu. No phone calls will be accepted regarding application status.
OHSU’s Division of Nephrology & Hypertension offers two distinct fellowship programs:
- Standard
Nephrology Training Program
Two-year Clinical Nephrology Fellowship
Three-year Academic Physician Scientist Fellowship
Both programs lead to board eligibility in Nephrology
- Transplant
Medicine Training Program
This is a one year program that prepares board eligible Nephrologists to become specialists in Transplantation medicine. The program is certified by the American Society of Transplantation.
Fellows are exposed to a broad array of educational activities
within the Division and the School of Medicine.
Clinical
facilities include the OHSU Hospital and the Portland Veterans Administration
Medical Center (VAMC).
