| Dr. Norman directs the Medical Transplantation Program
in the Department of Medicine, and is the Medical Director of the
Laboratory of Immunogenetics and Transplantation. He is a past president
of both the American Society of Transplantation and the United Network
for Organ Sharing (UNOS). His major clinical interests are renal transplant
medicine and Immunogenetics. His primary research interests are clinical
Immunogenetics and immunosuppression for clinical transplantation.
He is currently a member of the clinical trials oversight group for
the Immune Tolerance Network.
