to the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Oregon Health
& Science University. Nephrologists are internists who specialize
in treating patients with kidney disease and hypertension. Our missions
are to:

Provide outstanding care for patients with kidney disease
and hypertension.

Train students, residents, and post-doctoral fellows.

Conduct state-of-the-art research into causes, prevention and
treatment of kidney disease and hypertension.
The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension
is an exciting and growing division with leading
scientists, clinicians, and teachers working
together to improve patient care. The Division
provides consultative and follow-up care for
patients with all types of kidney disease. In
addition, our faculty participates in a full
range of academic activities including basic
science, clinical research, and teaching. Finally,
our division strives to be one of the leading
institutions for training Nephrologists for
both academic careers and clinical practice.
