Transit from Portland Airport to Downtown
There are several ground transportation options for traveling between the Portland Airport and Downtown Portland. The Portland Airport website lists several of these options and transportation company contact information.
-> A Taxicab will cost approximately $25 - $35 and take 20-40 minutes
-> Door-to-door shuttle services charge a flat rate (approximately $14 one way). Some require advance reservations.
-> Light Rail - the MAX light rail red line runs directly from the airport baggage claim area to downtown Portland approximately every 15 minutes. The cost is $2.05 one-way and takes approximately 35-40 minutes. The MAX intersects with the downtown streetcar line and other bus routes. Go to www.trimet.org to plan your trip.

Meet & Greet
We will be having a meet & greet the evening before each interview in NW Portland (close to many of the recommended hotels). The meet and greet will be held at one of these locations:
-> Bay 13: 701 NW 13th Ave. (cross street is NW Irving St.)
-> Paragon Restaurant: 1309 NW Hoyt St. (cross street is NW 13th Ave.)

Getting to Campus on Interview Day
The Internal Medicine Residency program is located on OHSU’s Marquam Hill Campus (just southwest of downtown Portland) in Sam Jackson Hall on the 7th floor (take elevator 'C'). We are building #3 on the campus map link below.

-> Public Transit:
The #8 Trimet bus is the main bus from downtown Portland to OHSU. Departures are approximately every 10-15 minutes. The #8 intersects with both the MAX light rail and streetcar routes. ->Hotel Shuttles:
Some hotels offer shuttle service to OHSU. Inquire with the hotel about shuttle service when you make your reservation.
->Taxicab:
A taxicab from downtown to OHSU will vary in price depending on where you are staying. Current taxi rates can be viewed here.
-> Driving:
View the OHSU Campus Map and Driving and Public Transit Directions to OHSU pdf documents for driving directions and parking instructions. The parking booth will most likely have you park in the Kohler Pavilion (KPV), building #7 on the campus map (enter on SW Campus Drive).
