The OHSU Internal Medicine Residency Program will be conducting intern applicant interviews on the following dates for 2007-2008:
- November - 14, 19, 26, 30
- December - 3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 19
- January - 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 23, 25

Typical Interview Day
7:30 AM – Welcome and Program Orientation with Dr. Tom Cooney, Vice Chair for Education and Residency Program Director. Continental Breakfast will be served.
8:45 AM - Separate into two groups, escorted by Chief Medicine Residents to University Hospital and Veterans Administration Medical Center
9:00 AM – Morning Report at OHSU or VAMC
10:00 AM to Noon – Inpatient Rounds at OHSU or VAMC; personal interviews for some
12:00 PM – Buffet Lunch with Medicine Interns and Residents
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Campus Tours, including Tram Ride; personal interviews for some
After tour - Free time (check email, print boarding passes, make phone calls, etc).
3:00 PM – Wrap-Up Meeting/Q & A Session with Dr. Tom Cooney and Dr. Judy Bowen
4:00 PM – End of Interview Day
Evening Meet & Greet
For 2008 we will be offering a meet and greet with the current housestaff the evening before all interview dates. Applicants will also have
the opportunity to meet current residents during the interview day. We will
be sending out RSVP notices approximately 2 weeks before your scheduled interview
