My overall research interest is the role of sex hormones in the development of disease. Currently, I am interested in the effects of estradiol loss on the brain and the role that estradiol loss plays in the development of perimenopausal symptoms. My current research is on the effects of estradiol supplementation on cognition, mood, symptoms, and sleep in the perimenopausal period.
