    Dr. Bliziotes received his medical degree in 1976 from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He completed his residency training at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland, Ca., and his fellowship training at the National Institutes of Health in two institutes, NIDDK and NHLBI.
