Minor cuts:

  1. Apply direct pressure until bleeding stops (if bleeding doesn’t stop, call an ambulance).
  2. Wash with soap and water.
  3. Cover with dressing or bandage.

Large or deep cuts:

  1. Apply pressure to stop or slow bleeding.
  2. Call an ambulance.
