As scientific understanding of basic processes in biology and medicine expands
and medical practice becomes more sophisticated and complicated, the need to
develop physician-scientists with knowledge in both areas is ever increasing.
The goal of the OHSU M.D.-Ph.D. Program is to provide a collegial and interactive
environment where students can excel in both biomedical research and clinical
medicine. On behalf of the M.D.-Ph.D. program and the School of Medicine, I welcome
