Diane McLean

Diane McLean, R.N., Medical Membership Director
Past Director, Metro YMCA’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program & Health & Fitness Consultant for 30 years; program was nationally certified through American Association of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR); medical consultant on exercise & secondary prevention for chronic disease states, west coast regional YMCAs; Nurse Manager, Coronary Care Unit, Good Samaritan Hospital & Medical Center; ACLS, BLS & AED certified. Through my years of experience I have come to know that health is the most valuable asset a person has. Creating an environment that builds knowledge, confidence, hope and support are keys to success in developing positive health habits and effecting health outcomes. Health & fitness programs should address the body, mind and spirit and contain specific components aimed at optimizing risk reduction for disease, fostering healthy behaviors, improving functional capacity and quality of life. My goal is to start where you are, maximize your potential, provide guidance in helping you make lasting lifestyle changes, and have a little fun throughout your journey.
