Welcome!
The Western ILLiad User's Meeting took place May 5, 2006 at Washington State University (WSU) Vancouver.

Based on our survey data, there is lots of interest in ILLiad report generation. On May 4, there will be a full-day pre-conference workshop on how to access the OCLC ILLiad database for the purpose of generating detailed operational reports and statistics. Stephanie Spires from Atlas will teach the hands-on course. There will be a $250 registration fee.

The WILLiad Users Meeting will run from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5. The program will have 2-tracks focusing on systems and workflow topics.

On May 5, there will be a continental breakfast from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be provided, both compliments of OCLC Western.

About half of the meeting attendees responded to the evaluation survey. Although all the sessions were highly rated, the majority of respondents thought including ILLiad sessions in the NW Interlibrary Loan & Resource Sharing Conference was preferable to holding a regional meeting, all respondents considered it important to have some sort of ILLiad interest group/training continue in the NW/West.
