Oregon Library Resource Sharing Program

Accessing the OHSU Library Collections

The OHSU Library participates in this state-wide program that provides free interlibrary loan of both articles and books among participating public and academic libraries in Oregon. Materials from the OHSU collection can be requested through the interlibrary loan program of your public or school library. Materials are delivered to your library for your convenience.

Users have access to the OHSU Library catalog in order to identify materials they may wish to borrow in a variety of ways:

  1. In local public or academic libraries or from a home computer where Internet access is available, search the OHSU Library catalogs.

  2. Email () or call (503) 494-3462 for help in identifying materials on your topic which can then be requested through your local library.

  3. Call the reference desk at your local library for assistance.

All circulating materials in the OHSU Library collection can be requested through the Oregon Library Resource Sharing Program. You are also welcome to come to the Main Library for assistance during regular hours.

Increasing access to health information resources for all Oregonians is a goal of the OHSU Library. Please contact Judith Norton at or (503) 494-3499 with suggestions for improving services or for additional information on the Oregon Library Resource Sharing Program.
