Request and Item in the Catalog OHSU Library
Request Books and Journals from the OHSU, NCNM or WSCC Libraries

If you do not have a library barcode, please use the Request an Item From the Old Library or Storage form to request books or journal volumes from the OHSU Old Library or off-site storage facility. Up to ten requests will be processed per day.

OHSU, NCNM and WSCC faculty, staff and students with library barcodes can use the Request function in the catalog to request the following materials (you will receive an email when the item(s) are available for pickup):

  • Books from the Main, OGI, Primate, NCNM and WSCC libraries
  • Journals from the Old Library and Storage facility

Request a single item

  1. Locate the item in the catalog
  2. Click on the “Request” button

  3. Complete the Request Verification
  4. Click on the “Submit” button

  5. Mark the desired item
  6. Click on “Request Selected Item”

  7. For journals, select the desired volume, click on “Request Selected Item”

  8. Receive a confirmation message

Request multiple books

  1. Perform search
  2. Mark the desired items
  3. Click on “Saved Marked Records”

  4. Click on “Book Cart” button

  5. Click on “Request Marked Titles”

  6. Enter requested information
  7. Check the desired items from the list of saved records
  8. Click on “Request Selected”

  9. Receive confirmation message
