Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Historical Collections & Archives is the repository of primary and secondary source materials pertaining to the history of the institution, the history of medical education and practice in the Pacific Northwest, and the history of medicine generally. The collection includes all pre-1901 imprints and other rare and valuable published works, as well as archival records and personal papers, the Historical Image Collection, and the Medical Museum Collection. The History of Medicine Room, established in 1939, serves as the reading room for researchers seeking access to the collections. Located in the Old Library building on the OHSU Marquam Hill campus, the Room can be visited during regular open hours or by appointment. For further information, please follow the links to the left.
