What we do:
The Collection Management & Systems Department budgets for, selects, purchases, and catalogs the library's print and electronic collections and manages the OHSU Library's computing resources. Our activities include:
- Selecting books, journals, and other materials to meet the information needs of the OHSU community
- Purchasing and/or licensing these materials with the most favorable terms possible
- Cataloging these materials so that library users can find them easily
- Maintaining and supporting the Library's computers and peripherals
- Developing, maintaining, and supporting the Library's automated systems, including the catalog, remote access server, and Web-enabled databases
- Designing and maintaining the Library's Web presence
