The Library Acquisitions Section manages the Library's purchase of books and
multimedia. Our activities include:

Library users are encouraged to
recommend
book and multimedia titles for potential inclusion in the collection.
Gift Policy: The Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Library
accepts book
donations that augment the collection. If the Library is unable to accept
your donation, due to space and staffing limitations, the
alternative
disposition list provides information on organizations that collect
and distribute donated books and journals.
Upon receipt of your gift, you will receive an acknowledgment. We regret that the OHSU
Library is unable to assess the value of donations for tax purposes.
