TRIMET PASSport PASS PROGRAM 2008

OHSU is again making it possible for employees and students to participate in TriMet's PASSport program at a substantial discount. A PASSport sticker on your OHSU ID badge is good for much more than commuting to work or school. It's also good at all times for all zones on all TriMet buses, MAX trains and Portland streetcars.

Please note, the PASSport will no longer be honored on C-Tran buses, so OHSU will also offer the C-TRAN ANNUAL PREMIUM PASS for commuters from Washington. C-Tran Annual Premium Passes will be good on TriMet routes during commute periods.

Employee TriMet PASSports

TriMet recently announced a fare increase that raises the cost of its annual, all-zone pass to $726. However, because OHSU subsidizes the PASSport cost, OHSU employees will pay $204. This cost is $1.50 more per pay period than last year.

Student PASSports

OHSU students will also be offered the PASSport at the subsidized rate of $204 annually. However, OHSU will allow payment plans for students per term. The fee per term will be $68, and payment arrangements can be made in the OHSU Parking Office.

Employee C-Tran Annual Premium Passes

C-Tran recently announced a fare increase that raises the cost of its Annual Premium Pass to $1,260. However, because OHSU subsidizes the C-Tran Annual Premium Pass cost, OHSU employees will pay $204.

Permanent OHSU employees may pay for the pass in full or through a pretax payroll deduction of $8.50 per pay period for 24 pay periods. Temporary employees and flex staffers must pay $204 by cash, check or Visa when obtaining their C-Tran Annual Premium Pass.
