OHSU provides pharmaceutical care services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Services include monitoring patient drug therapy, pharmacokinetic consultation, patient and family education, intravenous admixture and sterile product preparation, and unit dose drug dispending. We also offer an extensive investigational drug service. Our environment includes a state-of-the-art pharmacy computer system and Baxa TPN compounding system. It is also a premier site for Pyxis Medstation use.

At OHSU, our excellence is expanding. Construction is complete on our new 335,000-square-foot patient care tower as well as the Center for Health and Healing in Portland's South Waterfront District. Both facilities include a new pharmacy and with this growth, expanded investigational drug services and a renovated clean room. We have also increased the presence of pharmacists on the nursing units.
