Description
Purpose of this position is to maintain data production and collection systems used by staff within Pharmacy and Nursing to provide therapeutic monitoring, medication distribution, patient billing for services and management reporting. The person occupying this position co-ordinates and performs activities associated with communicating a range of information intradepartmentally and interdepartmentally. Participates in selection and implementation of mission-critical pharmacy inpatient and outpatient information systems, including the RFP process, contract negotiation, hardware selection and testing, interface specification, database build, design of output documents and reports, testing, training, go-live transition, follow-up, and system and user support.Qualifications
***The system will only accept applications from Current OHSU employees for the first 7 days of this posting***Associate-s degree and four years Computer Science experience; ORBachelor-s degree and two years Computer Science experience; ORAn equivalent combination of training and/or experience.See above for years of experience.- Database management- Experience as computer or systems technologist (pharmacy-related desirable)- Formal training in computer design, programming, operation, and applications. - Computer system design programming and operation- Systems Analysis- Effective interpersonal communication- 1 year pharmacy experience
Schedule and Salary Range
1.0 FTE; Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5 p.m; Salary Range: $20.16-27.32/hr; Location: OGI/Jack Murdock Bldg, Ste 502
