Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is Oregon’s only public academic health center, serving patients throughout the region with a Level 1 trauma center and nationally recognized Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. OHSU operates a dental, nursing, pharmacy and medical school, which ranks high both in research funding and serving its social mission. OHSU’s Knight Cancer Institute is a birthplace of personalized medicine, with the discovery of the first anti-cancer medication and an ongoing focus on identifying targeted and individualized therapies at the molecular level. Research through the OHSU Brain Institute ranks fourth in the country for NIH funding in the neurosciences.
The Oregon Health & Science University Pharmacy team is dedicated to helping providers and patients manage complex and cutting-edge medication therapies. OHSU Pharmacy staff works side by side with fellow healthcare providers in creating an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. Our goal is to provide world class medication management to our patients.
The Director of Pharmacy Services at OHSU provides primary professional, administrative and educational leadership for the Department of Pharmacy services in support of the goals and objectives of OHSU Hospital and Clinics and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. This includes in-patient, ambulatory and retail operations.
