Is your dad still meeting his friends for golf? Is your mom still going to her bridge group? Are they still involved in their hobbies or volunteer work, or are they becoming more and more isolated?

As friends and siblings pass away, opportunities for social outings diminish. If your parents have stopped driving, their world has shrunk considerably, especially in areas where there is no public transportation.
