The Center for Health Disparities Research conducts collaborative community projects that target the social, political, cultural, economic and behavioral factors that contribute to health disparities. We have several individual partners and community collaborators. We are currently working with our partners on several funded grants and you can learn more about some of those projects listed below:

Strengthening the Capacity of Nursing through an Innovative Service-Learning Partnership with the Latino Community

Services to African American Domestic Violence Victims The Center's vision is to involve the community in all aspects of our research studies. By collaborating with community agencies we can better produce culturally competent interventions aimed at reducing the health disparities experienced by racial and ethnic minorities and other underserved populations.
