Timothy's Story:
Timothy was born full term in Hillsboro Oregon Dec 31, 2010. Minutes after birth he turned blue and his oxygen levels was down in 20%.
Caitlyn's Story:
Caitlyn has been a patient at Doernbecher since her diagnosis of Osteosarcoma in 07'. Living on 10s for most of her 6th grade year. Her most recent diagnosis of Adenocarcinoma in 2010, once again made her a 'regular' to the 10s inpatient and clinic.
Shaun's Story:
Many years ago (around 1980) my son was at Doernbecher. He was 20 months old when he was admitted there. He contracted spinal meningitis (he had the worst kind, the kind that kills adults) and had less then a 10% chance of surviving.
James' Story:
We learned of our son's soon to be lifelong condition at the mid-pregnancy ultrasound: Spina Bifida.
