OHSU includes two hospitals (OHSU Hospital and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital) and numerous medical practices that are located on Marquam Hill, at the Center for Health & Healing, and in several neighborhoods in the Portland metro area.

About our patients
- OHSU is a level 1 trauma center and receives very seriously ill or injured patients from throughout the Pacific Northwest.
- OHSU is a regional resource for patients from Oregon, southwest Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and northern California.
- Nearly 34 percent of our patients come from outside the Portland tri-county metropolitan area.
- A little more than 88 percent of our patients come from counties in Oregon.
- We provide interpreter services in 35 different languages, and American Sign Language; however, the most frequently requested languages were Spanish, Chinese, Russian and Vietnamese.
