OHSU Regional Hemostasis and Thrombosis Referral Laboratory
The lab was founded in the mid-1970s and offers a comprehensive range of hemostasis assays. Assays include diagnostic tests for congenital and acquired bleeding disorders and tests to evaluate the risk of thrombotic disease. The laboratory is staffed by technicians dedicated to the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Lab and are available to share their expertise in ordering, performing and interpreting assays and to refer clients to the OHSU physicians for clinical consultation.Anticoagulation Clinic
Brief description The OHSU Anticoagulation Clinic was established in 1971. Over 550 adult and pediatric persons on short-term or long-term anticoagulation for a wide variety of indications benefit from periodic testing with state-of-the-art fingerstick blood testing, timely assessment of the response to therapy, prompt dosage adjustments, tracking by a system that supports uninterrupted monitoring, and communication using rapid links to their other OHSU providers. The clinic outcomes in terms of few bleeding and clotting episodes are some of the best in the nation.Clinic location and hours of operation:
- Monday through Thursday 8 AM to 4 PM
- Friday 8 AM to noon
