My Breast Cancer Story

Bailey's Story

Bailey's Story

My Mom was diagnosed three years ago. She's a survivor today. The one thing I remember the most about what we went through is what the doctor said: "Don't become a statistic. Even the worst cases, you can make it." Have a good support team. Stay connected. Fight hard. Don't ever give up. Make it a learning experience and something positive. We enjoyed chemo sessions with my mom. We made her a blanket and we sat there and played games. My mom wanted to go back every time and didn't want to leave. Stay positive. Don't become a statistic because we're going to beat this someday.
