Biography
Dr. Adams received her medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston, and completed her Ob/Gyn residency at OHSU. She spent five years in a busy private practice in Portland before accepting a faculty position at OHSU in 1997. She received certification as a medical ethicist from the University of Washington in Seattle, and serves as a clinical consultant for the OHSU Center for Ethics in Health Care. She chairs the ethics committee of the American Medical Women's Association. She has been the Ob/Gyn Residency Program Director since 2003. Her clinical interests include medical education, general obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, and perimenopause and menopause. Her hobbies include yoga, quasi-gourmet cooking, and international travel with her husband and daughter.
