Requirements:
- 1-3 mL blood, GREEN top tube. Deliver on ice to laboratory within 1 hr or separate plasma and transport frozen. Serum or LAVENDER top tube also okay if treated as above. For requisition slips.
- Pediatric Specimen
Requirements:
- 1 mL blood, GREEN top tube.
- Comments:
- Indication: Contact lab at (503) 494-5400 for further specifications. Not recommended except for confirmation of a few specific disorders. Urine is preferred sample.
