- Pediatric Specimen
Requirements:
- 3 mL blood, LAVENDER top tube. Send to Lab within 30 minutes, or spin and freeze plasma (1 mL) immediately.
- Reference Range:
- Reportable Range: 48-10,000,000 HIV-1 copies/mL.
- Comments:
- Quantitative determination of the amount of viral RNA. For determining prognosis or response to antiviral therapy.
