- 6.0 mL whole blood or bone marrow aspirate in EDTA vacutainer tube.
For "requisition slips". Completed forms are required before testing can be performed.
- Reference Range:
- Presence, absence or assessment of relative proportions of donor and host DNA markers in post-bone marrow transplant specimens.
- Interpretation:
- Professional interpretation required. Assessment of donor and host DNA markers is indicative of post- transplant engraftment status. Chimerism studies provide indications of the percentage of donor material remaining in post -transplant host specimens.
