Staff Bioinformaticist

See Yan Lau received a Bachelor degree in Biology in the University of Portsmouth in UK and a Master of Philosophy in Biochemistry in the University of Hong Kong. As she was interested in the field of Bioinformatics, she pursued a Bsc degree in Computer Science in the University of Oregon, US. See Yan has 5+ years research experience in the area of intracellular signaling mechanism, immunotherapy for advanced stage Nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients, genomic study of Drosophila using cDNA microarray and is a co-author of several biomedical publications. She also has experience with several microarray analysing tools such as MAS5.0, STATISTICA, OmniViz etc. Recently she joins BBC as a staff Bioinformaticist and provides user-support in the Bioinformatics Suite on OHSU and VGTI.
