Microarray Resources
(under construction)

The OHSU Microarray Program for NHLBI Investigator was established in fall 2002 through the support of RFA HL-02-007 (PI: Grover C. Bagby, M.D.). The program will support expansion and enhancement of the OHSU Gene Microarray Shared Resource (GMSR), provide microarray study design guidance, technical support and data analysis support for NHLBI-funded projects. The program objectives are to provide gene microarray support for meritorious NHLBI-funded projects, promulgate use of this technology by NHLBI-funded scientists not now using it, and to recruit new investigators to the fields of cardiovascular, pulmonary, and blood diseases.

Specific aims of the OHSU Microarray Program are:

  1. to expand and enhance the OHSU Gene Microarray Shared Resource to provide state-of-the-art, high quality expression profiling services to meritorious projects of NHLBI-funded investigators at OHSU
  2. to provide a platform for data management, data mining and data sharing for participants in the Microarray Program for NHLBI Investigators
  3. to provide support in study design and data analysis for participants in the Microarray Program for NHLBI Investigators, and
  4. to provide education and training in microarray technology and data analysis for NHLBI investigators.
