Using the Affymetrix GeneChip platform, the AMC offers labeling and processing of RNA samples to produce gene expression data. After expression data has been produced, the AMC performs basic scaling and analysis of the data. Throughout the processing of samples, the AMC checks the samples and data for quality. The AMC also offers assessment of the quality of input RNA using the Agilent Bioanalyzer.

Beyond the lab, the AMC offers investigators online access to project application forms and data. Person-to-person tutorials are offered free-of-charge by AMC bioinformatics staff. The Center for Biostatistics, Computing and Informatics also offers statistical analysis of microarray data on a fee-for-service basis.
