Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) Exams

What is IC3?

The IC3 certification program is a global, validated, standards-based training and certification program for basic computing and Internet knowledge and skills. Successful completion of IC3 ensures you have the knowledge and skills required for basic use of computer hardware, software, networks and the Internet. IC3 is your gateway to advancement in education, employment, or other certification programs.

Certification Requirements

All you need do to become IC3 certified is pass three (3) exams that test your knowledge and skills through knowledge-based questions and performance-based tasks. Each exam takes less than an hour to complete and can be completed at the OHSU IT Training Microsoft Certification Testing Center.

Earn College Credit

IC3 can help you achieve your higher education goals. Upon successful completion of IC3, you may receive college credit through participating colleges affiliated with the American Council on Education (ACE). IC3 has earned an ACE credit recommendation for college education so you can seek credit from the more than 1,800 accredited, degree-granting colleges, universities, and other education-related organizations.
