
Naveen Bhandarkar, M.D.
Rhinology Fellow
Dr. Bhandarkar, originally from California, graduated Summa Cum Laude with highest honors from the University of California, Los Angeles. He went on to receive his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He then completed a residency program in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago.
During residency he was actively involved in clinical research in various subspecialties of Otolaryngology leading to multiple presentations at national conferences and publications. Most recently, he participated in research comparing outcomes between various techniques for minimally invasive pituitary tumor removal and presented this data at the International Rhinologic Society meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in April 2009.
Dr. Bhandarkar is honored to have been appointed as a clinical instructor in Rhinology and Sinus Surgery at the OHSU Oregon Sinus Center under the mentorship of Drs. Smith and Sautter. He is currently actively involved in outcomes research of the treatment of sinus disorders and is committed to providing the highest level of patient care.
