Back to Head and Neck Surgery/Oncology

Dr.Xiao-Jing Wang came to OHSU in March 2003 from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where she was an Associate Professor in the Departments of Cell Biology and Dermatology. She will head the new Division of Molecular Biology-Head and Neck Cancer Research in association with the Section of Head and Neck Cancer/Oncology in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Wang's expertise is in the molecular biology of cancer. Her laboratory will continue their research on molecular mechanisms of tumor invasion during epithelial carcinogenesis. Her research fields include: Cancer Biology,Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Gene Regulation, and Signal Transduction.
