Steven B. Cannady, MD
Microvascular Fellow

Dr. Cannady completed his Bachelor’s in Science Degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Major in Zoology and a Minor in Chemistry, in 1997. He spent a year in a research position at Case Western Reserve Univesity investigating Alzheimer's Disease before he went on to Medical School at the The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health graduating in 2002. Dr. Cannady completed his Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery residency training at the Cleveland Clinic in 2008 where he conducted clinical and translational research in multiple areas of otolaryngology before deciding to specialize in head and neck surgery and reconstruction. He is currently in a one-year head and neck microvascular/ reconstructive fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Mark Wax at Oregon Health and Science University. His clinical interests are in head and neck oncology and free tissue transfer. He is involved in various clinical studies relating to free tissue transfer in head and neck reconstruction and head and neck oncology.
