Dr. Albert's special areas of interest are in orthognathic surgery, reconstructive surgery and cleft surgery. He received his medical degree in 1977 from Harvard Medical School in Boston, and received his medical degree in dentistry from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1971. He completed his residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He received special certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1979. Dr. Albert is a Professor Emeritus of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, having taught in that department from 1977 until he joined the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery in 2002.
