To fulfill our vital mission of healing, teaching, and discovery, Oregon Health & Science University relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses, foundations and other associations. For that reason, OHSU has established the OHSU Foundation - a 501c3 organization that raises funds for the University and invests and manages those funds in accordance with donors' wishes. Each year tens of thousands of donors contribute millions of dollars in financial support to OHSU through the OHSU Foundation, through outright or deferred gifts. Donors may designate their gifts to any OHSU school, research unit, program, project or initiative - or leave their gifts unrestricted to support an area of greatest need.
