Dr. Watase speaks at NYC Conference

Dr. Taketo Watase attended ACEP's first Health Writer's Conference was held on April 28th in New York City. The aim of the conference was to enlighten the health reporters regarding the importance of emergency medicine. Many prominent figures gave a talk including, Dr. Goldfrank, Dr. Gardner, Dr. Schneider, Dr. Pines, etc, with topics ranging from liability reform, disasters, ER technology, emergency room trends to emergency department boarding. At the conference, Dr. Watase's disaster relief mission experiences in Japan were shared with an emphasis on the importance of emergency physicians under devastating situations.
