Welcome the Class of 2017

The OHSU Department of Emergency Medicine is excited to announce the 11 incoming interns in the class of 2017. This year we received over 1100 applications for our 11 open positions. On March 21, 2014, the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) released the names of the 11 applicants who matched with OHSU Emergency Medicine.

Patrick Brunett, MD

Patrick Brunett, M.D., FACEP, associate professor of emergency medicine and associate dean for graduate medical education, was recently honored by the Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors Academy for Scholarship in Education in Emergency Medicine.

Cathy Erickson, MD

Spotlight on Cathy Erickson, MD

Dr. Erickson joined the Department of Emergency Medicine as a full-time faculty member in August 2012. She had been an adjunct faculty member at OHSU since October of 2010 after completing an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at Denver Health Medical Center. Dr. Erickson currently serves as the Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship Director.
