Columbia Memorial Hospital has partnered with OHSU to bring board certified emergency medicine physicians to their emergency department in Astoria. OHSU is providing medical directorship to help achieve CMH's quality, safety and patient satisfaction goals in the Emergency Department.

Dr. Ellingson joined the Department of Emergency Medicine at OHSU after completing his research training fellowship at OHSU in 2009. His academic focus is simulation-based teaching and since 2008, he is the Medical Director for the OIT/OHSU Paramedic Education program. He has also served on the Oregon College of Emergency Physician (OCEP) Board and helped coordinate the OCEP Annual Winter Conference from 2014 to 2016. Dr. Ellingson is staffed full-time in the emergency department at Columbia Memorial Hospital. In his spare time, he enjoys many outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and three sons.

Dr. Ferroggiaro joined the Department of Emergency Medicine as a full-time faculty in April 2015 and is the Medical Director for the emergency department at Columbia Memorial Hospital. His academic interests include rural emergency medicine, physician performance and clinical technical quality, and treatment effectiveness and tracking. During his free time he enjoys trail running, mountaineering, cycling, and skiing with family and friends.

Dr. Lee joined the Department of Emergency Medicine as full-time faculty in July 2017 after completing her residency training at OHSU and is staffed in the emergency department at Columbia Memorial Hospital. Her academic interests include medical education, ultrasound, and EMS where she is currently the assistant medical director for Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue. In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking and exploring Portland's food scene, hiking, skiing, cheering on the Seahawks, and spending time with loved ones.

Dr. Mayersak joined the Department of Emergency Medicine as full-time faculty in 2015. She has a Masters in Analytical Chemistry and formally worked in the Explosives and Propellant Division at the Naval Surface Warfare Center prior to making the transition into the healthcare field. She has been actively involved in medical student and resident education and served on several committees. She taught Emergency Department Critical Care Assessment and Procedures, an undergraduate Emergency Health Science course, the Practice of Medicine fourth year medical student capstone course, and was a CAP student preceptor for first and second year medical students. Her academic interests include medical education, medical ethics, palliative medicine, and areas covering specific system issues like ED super-utilization. She enjoys reading, shopping, travelling, and spending time with her friends and family.
